TheWebutante.com was created by Kaylee Walters and inspired by creative visionaires and business moguls like Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, and, of course, Perez Hilton.
After graduating from the International Baccalaureate Program in upstate South Carolina, Kaylee decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the College of Charleston. During her four years at the college, Kaylee maintained a 3.545 GPA, and was an active member of Psi Chi, the Psychology Honors Society. Kaylee spent a large portion of her senior year working with the College of Charleston Communications Department advising faculty members on implementing electronic portfolio technology into the department curriculum.
While Kaylee thrived in both of her academic concentrations, she developed a passion for the creative arts and media during her early years at the College of Charleston. Prior to cofounding The Design Group, Kaylee met her current husband and business partner, Brent Tabor. After developing TDG, Kaylee and Brent were able to effectively mold the company into an establishment specializing in photography/virtual tours, design, and marketing whose clients included the five star, five diamond Woodlands Resort & Inn as well as Trident Health System hospital network. Kaylee and Brent got married on April 30, 2009.
